And the bump became a baby (baby Jackson Roy Taylor no less)
So it’s Mothers day!! I do love my mum- so much so I swear I’m morfing into her, even though I swore I never would… But what can you do!! My mum is one of those women whose fridge is always full yet completely empty, her cupboards copy! It’s a complete nightmare if your hungry as there is at least 30 varieties of condiments and absolutely nothing to go with them ( she also thinks something + toast is adequate enough to be classed as dinner) so for mothers day I made her caramelised red onion chutney as I know she LOVES it on the toast!! Please bare in mind this involved a lot of strong onion oders to prepare and I totally don’t fit in where I live it’s a block of maisonettes surrounded by Iceland shoppers, dogs and a lot of shouters. There’s also the druggies in the block of flats to my left- they are actually alright as she plays Adele a lot and loudly! Where I make preserves, recycle, love the allotments out the back and sew for a past time!! I’m sure the only reason I’v not been beat is I often hold a face of thunder. So after the neighbour popping round exclaiming she could smell my stink all the way out in her car, giving it a curled nose stir it was ready to jar and to my dispare after all those onions it missed the fill of the jar by half an inch!!! As for my mothers day presents Travis layed in till 6:30am was completely adorable as soon as I went into his room and is now currently dancing to Laura marling in my bedroom with Rexy. My husband also left out his account card so I can buy myself something that I desperately need from Cath kidston, which is where I’ll be spending the afternoon working but hey Nanny gets Travis and they are always good days.
- Agreed, on all counts. Love my mum! (and my sister/s). x
